Autumn Colours

One of my favorite things about Autumn isn’t the excitement of the winter coming, the numerous autumn fairies or the tranquility, dont get me wrong those all great but top of my list is the amazing colors that we see in the our beloved valley du alps and surrounding areas of the Chablasis and Faucigny. I love driving around the uncrowded roads, stopping briefly at certain points to admire the beauty. Taking a photo to keep and share.

There is something fresh about Autumn. The colors really help with that. Here are some images for you to enjoy.

Autumn’s Beginings

I love it when autumn begins, the colours start to pop up in places, first a tree then a few more, like beacons of colour in a sea of green. The autumn yellows, orange and brown with all shades in between. Autumn certainly makes the most of the colour brown.

Autumn’s Beginings

Mont Blanc looks majestic all of the time, towering above her neighbours but she looks particularly beautiful with an autumn frock, skirting delicately woven autumn colours.

Autumn’s Beginings

I love the way the sun sits low and sunlight glistening, talking calmly to us as the autumn calm fills the air.

Autumn’s Beginings

Timing is everything to a photo, a moment captured in time can turn a good photo into a greater one. Two Donkeys shaded from the autumn sun.

Autumn’s Beginings

As time goes by more colours start to pop the canvas comes alive! Leaves start to fall while more colours start to pop up, like some kind of a living Jackson Pollock.

Autumn’s Beginings

There comes this moment where the colours are at their best, sometimes it only lasts a day or two its best to catch it while you can.
