Overview

MZiNe does not set any analytics cookies until you actively agree. When you first visit, a banner asks you to Accept or Reject analytics cookies. Nothing beyond what’s strictly necessary to remember your choice is set before you decide.

Cookies we use

If you accept, Google Analytics 4 sets _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies, which last around two years and are used to distinguish visitors and measure how the site is used.

What Google Analytics collects

Pages viewed, referring site, approximate (city-level) location, and device/browser type. This is used only in aggregate to understand how the site is used — we do not use it to identify individuals.

Your consent record

We keep a record of your cookie choice (an anonymous device identifier, a timestamp, and the page you were on) so we can demonstrate compliance with consent rules. This record does not identify you personally and is not used for tracking or advertising.

Legal basis

Analytics cookies are set on the basis of your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Keeping a record of that consent choice rests on our legitimate interest in being able to demonstrate compliance.

Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie preferences” in the site footer. Rejecting stops future data collection immediately.
